Middle School

Middle school is a unique time for both students 和 parents. Students are transitioning into the early stages of adolescence 和 experiencing cognitive, emotional, 和 physical changes. Parents play a crucial role during this time. Some helpful tips are to:

  • Talk to your child about school

  • Sign your child up for 三人组
  • Create a safe space for them to explore various interests

  • Attend school meetings 和 events

  • Explore artistic 和 creative outlets with your child

  • Check 和 assist with their homework

  • Listen to their career ideas/dreams without judgment

High School

The time has come to help your child get into college 和 prepare for life after high school. There are several things you can do to help your child along the way.

  • Learn the recommended high school courses needed to make your child’s college application competitive.

  • Gather information on college entrance exams early, instead of waiting until junior 和 senior years.

  • Allow your child to participate in extracurricular activities 和 enrichment programs.

  • Get an idea of what type of school your child is interested in to narrow your college search 和 tours.

  • Talk to school counselors to get help with admissions 和 financial aid processes.

  • Explore all financial options including scholarships, grants, 和 loans.
